Medway Air Ambulance's Medical Jet Fleet
Unlike many other air ambulance companies, we don’t rely on brokers for our aircraft. Instead, we own, operate and maintain our own fleet of 16 Learjet aircraft. This fleet gives us greater range for serving patients throughout the US, North America, and the world.
Specially-Equipped Medical Jets
Our jets are equipped to function at up to ICU levels of care, ensuring we can provide care for patients experiencing any medical condition. They have defibrillators, ventilators, oxygen supplies, pulse oximeters, intubation equipment, and much more. Our dedicated Neonatal Pediatric Team flies in a jet that has dedicated stay of the art neonatal equipment , allowing us to transport preemies and newborns to specialized medical facilities. You can count on us for reliable medical care.
Medical Flight Certifications & Licenses
Medway is an FAA-licensed Part 135 provider, so you can rest assured that we meet all mandated safety standards. Our clinical team holds advanced certifications including ACLS and PALS, and each clinician is certified in their respective specialty, including Certified Flight Nurse (CFN) and Flight Paramedic Certified (FP-C).Medway is accredited by EURAMI, NAAMTA, and ARGUS, and has earned the prestigious CARB accreditation from the U.S. Military.

Our medics Josh and Lindsay were incredible and so kind. Our pilots were also very compassionate and professional (Ron & Bobby). I was so pleased how smooth it all went with all the logistics, especially because this is such a stressful situation as is, with my husband being transported due to a traumatic brain injury. From the paramedic and nurse to the pilot/copilot, we had an awesome team that alleviated any concern and addressed every one of my wife's needs both in the air and in the ambulance trips between airports and hospitals. Professional and friendly - 2 things that put me at ease: knowing they could handle any situation or emergency, yet personable enough to converse with and even share a few laughs.

We had to take a medical flight from STL to Chicago following brain surgery for my son to get him to a rehabilitation facility. The flight crew was top-notch. All very good at what they do and so compassionate in how they do it. They explained all the aspects of the flight and process very well. They did a good job of keeping my son comfortable and safe throughout the entire trip. I never dreamed we would need something like this at any point in our lives, but I'm so glad Medway was available to help us in this emergency. THANK YOU DEVON AND TERESA!!! And to the pilots. I cannot say enough about the incredible care we received from Medway Air Ambulance during the flight transporting my critically injured son from Connecticut to Georgia. As a parent, I was absolutely terrified, but from the moment we boarded the plane the crew made me feel safe and supported.Their professionalism, medical expertise, and calm presence were extraordinary. They treated my son with such skill and attention, and they showed me so much empathy and kindness during one of the most frightening moments of my life. It was clear that they were not only highly trained but deeply compassionate people.Knowing my son was in their hands gave me a sense of peace I didn’t think was possible in that situation. I will always be grateful to the entire team, including pilots, for the exceptional care they provided. Thank you for everything you did for my son and for me.

The care and flight team were great. In scary medical circumstances of my daughter’s long medical road, they gave reassurance, explained steps throughout experience, and took good care of my daughter and self during our flight. While I never hope to need this service again, I do high recommend if services are needed.

Thankful that your Guardian Angels were there, I want to thank the team from Medway Air Ambulance who airlifted me from San Jose, Costa Rica to Yale New Haven Hospital last week. I had fractured my pelvis in an ATV accident. The medical team of Donna (paramedic) and Steve (RN) were wonderful. I was sorry I had to use the care but I am thankful that your Guardian Angels were there. No one should be without this vital assistance in a time of need. I plan to spread the word. I thank you again. Also, if possible, could you give Donna and Steve my thanks as well. I should make a full recovery and look forward to a good 2012; and I wish you a Happy New Year.

I was amazed at how smoothly it went
My husband had a heart attack while we were vacationing. At the hospital they told us he needed by-pass surgery. We wanted to have it done closer to home. Medway worked with the hospital’s discharge staff, arranged for the ambulance to meet us on arrival and got him pre-admitted for surgery. I was amazed at how smoothly it went. Thanks Medway!
