- Communicate with representatives of discharging and receiving facilities and insurance carriers
- Communicate with operations to schedule flight crews and proper medical personnels
- Arrange ground transportation to and from the sending and receiving facilities
- Verify with the immediate family all aspects of the transport are completed
Medical Staff
Our medical flight team is led by Dr. Alex Torres. Dr. Torres has more than a decade of experience in emergency & critical care medicine, while complementing his skills & knowledge with aerospace medical training as a flight surgeon with the Air Force Reserves. Dr. Torres instills his passion and knowledge in the Medway Air Ambulance medical flight team through extensive and rigorous training.
Our medical flight team goes through a rigorous screening & training process. Candidates average 10 years of experience in emergency & critical medicine and are further screened for providing care to our specialty patient populations such Neonatal, complex pediatrics, and cardiac. Once vetted and hired, candidates are placed through a series of training sessions and quarterly competencies to ensure their skills and knowledge. All medical flight crew members attend the identical FAA training sessions as our pilot group to ensure overall safety during each transport.

Operation Staff
Medway Air owns, operates and maintains all of our aircraft. Each member of our maintenance crew has extensive knowledge of the Medway Air fleet. They are full-time employees who bring vast experience and knowledge to the task. All Medway Air aircraft are subjected to thorough safety checks prior to flight.
